6 posts · Joined 2016. #1 · Jun 8, 2017. My old power steering pump was broke on my 2009 Focus SE, replaced it myself after flushing out the PS fluid, now there's a new problem. I bled the system while the engine was OFF while the front end is jacked and got most air out, turned the engine on and the pump is silent and everything sounds fine.

It's cheap enough to buy and easy enough to replace, if it's suspect and old, just change it. Bobbym Discussion starter.

I had issues with the light coming on about 4 weeks ago, and put it into my Ford Dealership who linked the car up to the IDS system and it was diagnosed as front wheel sensors. These were replaced and the system bled via the IDS system
Hi, I'm new to this forum but I've recently been having some problems with my 05 reg Focus Mk2 Titanium 1.6 Ti-VCT. The main problem is that if the car is sat un-driven for a day or more, upon the next start the engine will be shaky with the rev counter bouncing up and down, and the Engine Management Light will be lit up along with the warning lights and in limp mode. I have had problems recently with focus Mk2 56 1.8 tdci intermittent problems with communication cam bus drop out Apparently the focus has common problems with the clocks soldier cracking on the Maine plug Re soldier the pins on the inside all fixed give them a go mine looked ok but were clearly playing up VLB6UfR.
